THE HUNT IS ON! WILD Geocaching Adventure in West Virginia Thrilling Hunt... great time! A New twist to the sport of Geocaching, "extreme" or "adventure" caching was started by an outfitter in Oakhill, West Virginia. I Grabbed my gear and and made reservations. The company ACE Adventure Center made my transition into adventure caching easy they set everything up, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Being a avid outdoors man, I love Rock Climbing and Kayaking so I picked the higher skill level cache. It started simply enough at the ACE Adventure Center, I found the N 37° 58.019 W 081° 05.179 coordinates fast even though ace has 1400 acres. The first cache gave me the coordinates to a spot in the gorge were the second cache was. I know the cliffs in the gorge and booked a climb. It was great and the ace guide I went with was very knowledgeable. The last cache sent me to get wet. Kayak in hand, I headed to the New River and my next mission.
